Title: "Proof of Usagi" What can I say about this video?Hmm...not much, unfornutely. It’s all about Usagi Tsukino---her serious side, that is. Every SM fan knows that Usagi/Serena(US dub) is a ditzy crybaby who loves to eat ice cream and hates studying, but there’s more to her than we realize. Inside, she really cares about everybody, and is willing to sacrifice herself for her loved ones. That’s basically what “Proof of Usagi” is all about. Footage: I mostly use some of my favorite battles from all the series(Queen Beryl in the first season, Galaxia in Stars, and so on and so on). I also added some dramatic clips, like her hugging Luna in the S movie, saving Chibi Moon in the SuperS movie, and---my personal favorite--Sailor Mars dying in her arms in Stars. That right there broke me out into tears. Very pretty, in my opinion. Music: While listening to my iTunes on my iBook, “Proof of Myself” by Megumi Hayashibara, came on. One of my friends had let me borrow her Saber Marionette J to X tape, and I imported it onto my computer. Anyway, the song came on, and I kinda cry at it. Of course, I was also watching the Sailor Moon S Movie tape, and the Luna crying scene was on. After going though a LOT of SM tapes and rewatching them, I decided to dedicate a amv to Usagi. Effects: Not much. However, there is a little lip-synching. On the downside, I didn’t do that; it just happened like that. |
